Patricia is a photographer and sound practitioner living in New York City. Originally from Brownsville, Texas, she travels extensively to document people and culture.
She was among the first westerners to be granted access to the matriarchal Miao tribe in remote China. She's also spent years photographing ground-breaking female artists, like Agnes Martin, Beatrice Wood, and Leonora Carrington, in the latter part of their lives.
Patricia's work is part of the permanent collections of the NY Museum of Art & Design, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Tate Modern, the Henry Buhl Collection, the Santa Barbara Museum of Art and the Agnes Martin Estate in New Mexico.
